| Lisa Greco
Studio Director / Lisa has been performing since she was a child. At age 16 she choreographed her first piece. She went on to graduate with a BA in dance and music from Hunter College. While in college she managed the dance company, taught dance club once a week, performed her own choreography throughout NYC, and went on to graduate with honors in dance.After college she continued to perform and choreograph her own work on the modern dance scene. Lisa has benn honored to have studied with both Martha Graham and Merce Cunningham and many other pioneers in the modern dance world. .She also is an accomplished drummer. She has played the drums in many venues throughout NYC. Her choreography can also be seen in her music videos. Lisa is a liscenced massage therapist and has an extensive background in anatomy and kiniesiology. Lisa has taught dance in both the NYC and Westchester school systems and looks forward to running her own dance center JUMP!
Caren Valente
has been teaching, choreographing and performing in and around Westchester since graduating from Marymount Manhattan College with her BA in Dance. She is on faculty at Purchase College where she teaches Dance Fitness and is the coach of the Dance Team. Caren is also on faculty at the Steffi Nossen School of Dance where she teaches modern and jazz techniques. She has choreographed musicals for Scarsdale High School, White Plains Middle School, Purchase Youth Theater and the Playgroup Theater. As a performer Caren has danced with Kinetic Dance Theater, appeared as a dancer on the AMC Series "Into Character: Dirty Dancing", and danced in the Off- Broadway Musical "Still on the Corner."
Cynthia S. D’Angelo a native of Pittsfield , MA , began her training with Judi Drozd of the Joffrey Ballet. She joined the Albany Berkshire Ballet junior company at 14 years of age. Upon graduating from high school, she joined ABB as a full company member, where she was a soloist and danced ballets such as Giselle, Cinderella, a Midsummer Night’s Dream & the Nutcracker. Ms. D’Angelo studied at the Boston Ballet, Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival with touring in Russia , and the Walnut Hill School of Performing Arts before deciding to attend the University of Missouri– K.C.- where she was an adjunct professor of Dance. She went on to dance for the Wylliams/Henry Danse Theatre and serve as Company Administrator. Currently Ms. D’Angelo resides in NY teaching and choreographing in Westchester County .
Marissa Kretzmer
A Bronx , NY native, began her training with Barbra Walczak of the New York City Ballet. She is a graduate of the H.S. of Performing Arts. Marissa continued her studies on scholarship at: STEPS on Broadway, the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center and the University of Akron . Ms. Kretzmer has been dancing professionally since 1989 and has danced with: the Wylliams/Henry Danse Theatre, Albany Berkshire Ballet, Once Upon A Time, Inc., and the Ballet Theatre of Westchester. Kate Sedlack
Kate Sedlack has been dancing and loving it since the mere age of three. She began her training at Robin Horneff's Performing Arts Center, where she was a company member until graduating high school. She then went on to receive her BFA in Dance Choreography from Arizona State University. She currently is on staff at Bronx Preparatory Charter School in the South Bronx, where she teaches dance to students in the 5th-12th grades. Kate resides in Manhattan and is a member of The Movement Collective Dance Company. She recently had the opportunity to dance as a guest dancer with Naganuma Dance. Her work can be seen at Teatro La Tea. Kate's love of dance is apparent in her energetic teaching approach and technically challenging movement.
